Marie works as a shop assistant in Closed Dortmund, but her favourite place is the German island Sylt. Her musical backdrop for a beach stroll is likely to be the song “Crazy Dreams” by Tom Misch. Marie loves long walks with friends and her two Parson Russell Terriers. And of course, good food, especially her mother’s pasta bake. That’s not all she gets from her mother.
“I love to wear my mother’s old clothes combined with well-cut contemporary pieces.”

„Alte Friesenstube“ stands out for its finest regional cuisine, its cozy charm and thereby lives up to its name: it is the oldest restaurant on the island of Sylt.
Buhne 16 is an institution since 1981. The small beach bistro offering a variety of food, lounge music, salty sea air, and self-caught mackerel. Going there is definitely worthwhile even though you have to follow the path through the dunes until you reach it.
The “Käselädchen” gives gourmets and friends of regional products the chance to take home some of the North Frisian goat cheese and sausage specialties. If you can’t wait we suggest a little tasting plate and a glass of organic wine. Delicious!
